Ulf Eriksson

Ulf has been working with violins his whole life. He started his musical career very early when, at the age of only 15, he was given a grant to study with Endre Wolf at the ‘Sveriges Radios Musikskola’ in Edsberg, Sweden. At 18, he moved to Copenhagen and studied with Milan Vitek at the Royal Danish Conservatory. Soon after his studies, he played with ‘Det Kongelige Kapel’ and ‘Tivolis Promenadeorkester’. Already long before he opened his own shop in 2000, he proved to have a talent for finding the right instruments for friends and colleagues which led him to start working as a freelance salesman. His network and inquiries quickly grew and soon it became an actual second business. Until 2016 – before making the violin shop his main business – Ulf has been a member of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra’s first violin group for more than 29 years.
